Rice idly

Ingredients:

idly ravva cream of rice - 2 cups

Urad dal - 1 cup

Salt - 1 tsp

Procedure:


Rinse and soak cream of rice and urad dal in water for about 5-6 hours. Grind urad dal in a blender with adding little bit water, add idly ravva after remove water and add salt.

Keep it aside(fermentation) for 12 hours.

Take idly plates and take a drop of oil in each idly mould and spread it over entire mould.

Pour the idly batter in each mould, then heat 2 cups of water in idly coocker or large vessel, place idly plates and cover with lid.

Heat in medium flame 25 min.

Remove idly plates then remove idlies from plates.

Serve with peanut chutney or coconut chutney.
